Organic craft brewing with Catalunya's best craft brewers, elevating the functional profile of tasty small-batch beer.

Canyas collaborates exclusively with small, local brewers to bring craft beer to a new generation of drinkers. Our mission is to celebrate Catalan culture, encourage responsible tourism, and add a touch of function to great-tasting beer. Salut.

Nutritional beer

Here's the crazy idea.

People are nutrient deficient, but changing diet is hard.

Can we organically enhance the nutritional value of existing, delicious habits?

Now that's crafty.

Magneasy Peasy Ale front_edited.png

We've identified four beers (to start with), based on four common nutritional deficiencies.

We've selected beers we can enhance nutrient value based  with crafty brewing processes, based on how they change the look and taste of the beer.

We need you.png

Vitamins B12 + D

Supports energy, immune function, and mood.

No changes to flavour or look, great for a lager.

Magnesium

Aids muscle function and reduces fatigue.

Can be cloudy, great for a hazy ale.

Iron

Helps prevent tiredness and supports healthy blood production.

Stout, obviously.

Probiotics

Supports gut health and digestion.

Can be sour, a good match for sour or lambic beers.

Exporting Catalonian Sunshine

What do other countries think of when they think of Catalonia?

A beautiful, healthy life. Let's export it.

Nutrition. Sunshine. Community. Beaches and nature. A proud cultural heritage. Art. Conversation.

Respectful tourists

Mission: Promoting Catalan Culture and Respectful Tourism

We’re building a beer brand with a purpose — giving back to the communities that shape the beer, and to encourage travellers to explore with respect.

These four principles guide everything we do:

1. Visit Like a Local

Tourism should leave a place better, not worse.

We promote positive travel by raising awareness of local issues and supporting community-led projects — from beach clean-ups to cultural preservation.

2. Drink the Catalan Way: Two Canyas is Enough

Drink less, enjoy more.

We swap excess for experience. Catalan drinking culture is about conversation, not consumption — slow afternoons, shared plates, and beer as part of the moment, not the main event.

3. Celebrate Catalan Customs

This isn’t just Spain. It’s Catalunya.

We spotlight local traditions, festivals, and flavours — from limited-edition brews to native ingredients — and weave Catalan stories and traditions into every label.

4. Speak the Language, Even a Little

A few Catalan words go a long way.

We use beer as a bridge, helping visitors connect through simple language tools — phrases on cans, guides in bars, and in our paid advertising.

We will be transparently sharing profits with initiatives that improve life for residents. We're still finalising details and partnerships. We're thinking clean up initiatives, supporting lower costs of living, or donating to shelters and food banks.

Local art
Promoting Catalonia

Exporting Local Art

We want to support local artists by featuring them on our products.

Each production run for a new beer, we'll run competitions for local artists to be featured on our boxes.

We expect constant changes to our beers:

1. Seasonal change

2. Promoting different breweries

3. Production limitations of breweries

We will aim to keep our SKU spaces — the shelf space in supermarkets — by continually swapping our our beers, keeping momentum.
