Our agreements with brewers are standardised and transparent, but here's a quick overview. In general, Canyas.org is for independent Catalan brewers who want to collaborate with Canyas. You’ll brew the beer, we’ll help get it to new international markets. Here’s what you need to know:
You keep your recipe.
Canyas doesn’t own your recipe. You can pour our collaborative recipe in your pubs; however, we retain exclusive rights to these recipes outside of your premise.
You brew it under your licence.
You remain the legal producer, and you’re responsible for its quality and safety. Functional nutrients are sourced by Food Safety Certified EU providers.
We're a sales channel.
Think of us as a single buyer. We operate on a few different models (contact our sales team for more information) depending on your brewery. We can buy your beer up front, or pay you once we’ve received payment from our distributor. It depends on the deal.
We get exclusive export rights of Canyas recipes + products.
You agree not to sell our collaborative beer except on your site or through us; however, you can export your existing products to any market. You can use success with us to attract other importers.
We handle the rest.
Canyas manages shipping and sales. We'll finalise labelling and packaging on a case by case basis, preferring your existing partners.
We market your story.
Your name is on the can — and we help promote your brand globally.
