Born from the belief that dogs, beer, and sunshine just belong together, these laid-back afternoons bring you splash pools, local brews, great food, and happy tails. Whether you’ve got a pup, want one, or just love the vibe, you’re invited.

During Barcelona’s hot summers, dog owners struggle to find safe, fun outdoor activities, which are fun for humans, too.
Barcelona's dog problem
Only ~20% of pet owners are aware of nearby ‘pet-friendly’ establishments or off-lead locations. The main beaches are completely off-limits during summer months.
As a result, Barcelona is perceived as the least dog friendly location for dogs.

During Barcelona’s hot summers, many dog owners struggle to find safe, fun outdoor activities, which are fun for humans, too.
People want to enjoy summer, yet feel like they have no choice but to leave their pets at home.

25.9% of Spanish households owned a dog in 2024. Most families include their furry friends in family photographs, considering them part of the family.
There are 94,200 dogs in Barcelona, by some estimates nearly 1 for every 10 people.

Responsible ownership and empathy comes from education and resources.

Dog Day Out is a summer event made for Barcelona’s most loveable companions, and the humans who come with them. Think splash pools, obstacle courses, cold beers, wood-fired food, shaded zones, and live music. A full afternoon of good vibes, fun-first dog energy, and the official launch of Canyas, a new Catalan beer brand with a wholesome twist.

We have a great location lined up at our brewery, 30 mins out of Barcelona, where we'll launch early next year.
But, to get permission to use the biggest and best venues close by, we need to show venue owners and the council evidence of demand.
